With him Digital Services Directive (DSA), the European Union is establishing for the first time a coherent framework for managing content and disputes between users and online platforms. At the heart of this innovation is the “authorized dispute resolution body (ODS)” and its specialized professionals: the ODS Facilitators.

The Facilitator:

• Examines differences between users and platform providers
• Coordinates the process extrajudicial appeal (articles 20–21 DSA)
• Ensures neutrality, transparency and reasoned judgment
• Operates in a high-pressure environment technological and ethical requirement

Who can register?

Registration is aimed at professionals who:

• They have completed the training program ODS Facilitator Training of startADR (or equivalent training after assessment)
• They have strong background in legal analysis, content moderation, user rights and technology
• They are committed to impartiality, protection of fundamental rights and quality documentation
•  They understand the broader context of DSA and are ready to take action on cases arising from pan-European platforms

Registry facilitators can be selected for cases related to: hate speech, entertainment platforms, influencers, minor content, corporate profiles, intellectual property and personal data online.

Access to communities of practice, mentoring, certified training and joint actions with professional associations, civic organizations, universities and institutions.

Proof of technological and regulatory competence
