How the service works step by step

  1. Submit a request
The interested party completes the electronic dispute resolution form available on our website, briefly recording the nature of the dispute and the parties involved.
  2. Evaluation by startADR
Our scientific team examines the suitability of the case for electronic resolution and suggests the optimal method (mediation, negotiation, arbitration or hybrid approach).
  3. Process definition
The appropriate facilitator is appointed and the context of communication is determined: video conference, exchange of documents, successive contacts or a combination of these.
  4. Conducting a procedure remotely
The parties communicate electronically with the mediation or support of the facilitator and attempt to reach a mutually acceptable solution.
  5. Agreement or next step
If an agreement is reached, it is recorded and can be made enforceable (where provided). If not, the parties may choose an alternative method of resolution (e.g. arbitration, physical mediation). In any case, the parties retain their right to seek legal action in the competent courts at any time.

Where is it applied:

Electronic dispute resolution applies to any dispute that can be resolved remotely using technology and always with respect for the particularities of each case:
