Online Event: Electronic Resolution of Consumer Disputes

The startADR, within the framework of the programme TravelODR, is organizing an online event on the topic of Electronic Dispute Resolution (EDR), specially adapted to the needs of Consumer Associations, with invited distinguished professionals and representatives consumer organizations.
The event will take place on Monday, March 17 at 6:00 PM, online, and aims to inform consumer associations about the possibilities offered by the Electronic Dispute Resolution (EDR) for the protection and support of consumers.
As a means of mediation and avoidance of legal entanglements, UDR contributes to faster and more efficient dispute resolution, reducing costs and ensuring consumer rights.
The event will feature:

The TravelODR is a European Programme of startADR, co-financed by the European Commission and implemented exclusively by the startADR, with the aim of promoting and implementing Electronic Resolution of Travel Consumer Disputes to consumers and businesses, ensuring an easy and fast dispute management mechanism.
Our carrier is officially certified and notified to the European Commission as a dispute resolution organization, offering reliable and effective solutions.
RAPPORTEUR

Dr. Eleftheria Sp. Papadimitriou
Eleftheria Papadimitriou is a tenured lecturer at the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in the field of Commercial and Economic Law, as well as a postdoctoral researcher at the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in the field of Commercial and Economic Law, with particular interest in the scientific field of new technologies, the digital market and e-commerce.
She is a scientific associate at the Department of Information and Communication Technologies – Law and Politics of the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (https://ictlaw.web.auth.gr/index.php/personnel/), as well as Guest Expert at the Master of Arts (MA) in Digital Transformation of Panteion University (https://digi-dcl.com/). She is a scientific associate of the Laboratory of "Digital Transformation Law and Artificial Intelligence" of the Law School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. (dtail.gr), dealing particularly with issues of digital transformation in the business sector, as well as with issues of artificial intelligence, having also carried out postdoctoral research in the latter.
She is a practicing lawyer at the Supreme Court (riapapadimitriou.gr) and member of the Hellenic Bar Association with specialization in Commercial Law (Corporate Law, Bankruptcy Law, Banking Law, Corporate Governance, FinTech, Intellectual Property Law, Consumer Protection, E-Commerce, Digital Services and Digital Markets), as well as Information Technology Law (Artificial Intelligence, Cryptocurrencies and Cryptomarkets, Personal Data Protection, Software and Databases, Electronic Payments, Internet Attacks).
She is the Founder, General Manager and Head of European Programs of startADR (startadr.org), which is an official online dispute resolution body, licensed by the Ministry of Development and notified to the European Commission. She is an accredited Mediator and an accredited Mediator Trainer (ADRgroup, UK).
He is a member of the "Law & Informatics" research group of the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a member of the editorial team of the "Information Law Journal" journal.
She has participated as a speaker in numerous conferences, seminars and lectures abroad and in Greece, presenting her scientific knowledge in her fields. She regularly writes articles in reputable Greek and foreign legal journals and in collective volumes of reputable scholars.
